Become a Tudorcon Speaker
Tudorcon welcomes proposals from authors, podcasters, bloggers, researchers, and independent scholars who are passionate about Tudor history and enjoy sharing their work with an engaged, enthusiastic audience.
We are looking for speakers who are knowledgeable, reliable, and excited to be part of a collaborative, community-focused event. Tudorcon talks are designed to be accessible, well-researched, and engaging for a general audience that already has a strong interest in the Tudor period.
What We’re Looking For
Successful proposals typically feature:
- A clear, focused topic related to Tudor history or culture
- Original research, fresh perspectives, or lesser-known stories
- Well-structured talks that fit within the allotted time
- Speakers who communicate clearly and enthusiastically
- A willingness to engage with attendees during and outside of sessions
Topics may include political history, daily life, religion, art, music, material culture, overlooked individuals, or new interpretations of familiar figures.
